Mika Haka ELP has produced and mentored thousands of young people with free support in accommodation, mentoring and business development since 2001. Future leaders are nurtured, allowed to create, to make mistakes, to transition as artists and producers. MHF support new leaders in the creative sectors; Screen works, Music, Dance and Fashion.

A Maori initiative for all New Zealanders; our diversity mix is made up of Maori, Asian, European, Indian, Pacific, Straight, LGBTIQQ, agnostics to Christians and whilst predominantly under 27 years – there has been exceptions – we value individual expression who can exploit their talents for themselves and OTHERS!

Business & Career Development

ELP Guidelines 2019

This free service has had over 1500 recipients since 2001. Due to the very large volume of requests for - Advice - Funding - Studio usage - Etc we now ask that any request for assistance be received only through email on Admin@mika.co.nz between Monday-Wednesday, 10am-2pm. We will respond when we can.

Please do NOT contact Mika after hours, weekends etc about work as he will no longer be available.

Where Mika secures a financial investment for you the foundation and you (using the MOU many of you have received before) all we ask is that you as an ELP leader commit to supporting another up and coming artist in the future.
