Mika Haka Foundation (MHF) programs create active movement, film, digital, live, fashion, arthouse, music and dance works. Our space enables emrging creatives to take ownership of their projects. From the ‘pitch’ to delivery, each creative can maximise thier ideas knowing they have a space where they can create without judgement or fear of making mistakes. At MHF, there are no bad ideas

Here is where it all begins. Where we get together and brainstorm, plan, fund, source and start the journey towards developing your future project. Led by Mika with a special emphasis on raising finance for your project.

Production, Costume + Make-up Design

September 21st – 27th
10am – 4pm

FREE LAB

Set and costume design with Michael ‘Snapper’ Knapp, drag with Pollyfilla (AUS), stylists Sammy Salsa, Rosanna Raymond and SPFX make-up with Kelly Mitchell.

In this Lab you will work alongside these mentors with the opportunity to be selected to work on a film in 2019. Mannequin art created in this Lab will be part of Aroha’18s ArtWeek installation.
